TransitVu

A durable display engineered for low-energy, exceptional clarity, and transit stations.

TransitVu™ LCD Displays are designed to specifically address the harsh environments found within most transit venues. Train and subway platforms are subject to ever-changing temperature and humidity levels as well as airborne containments, dirt, and corrosive brake-dust.

TransitVu™
operates in these challenging environments with no problems and provides long life and maintenance free operation in areas with no direct sun exposure. In addition, a number of standard features are included to further reduce operational costs and provide intelligent monitoring through our SmartVu® Portal.

Operating at 850 nits of brightness, these displays features a fully sealed, IP66-rated structure that prevents dust, dirt, and debris infiltration while maintaining optimal performance. The structure also includes IK10 safety glass and thermal management to handle the challenges of a heavily trafficked environment.

About the Piston Effect

Pressure changes created by trains entering / exiting the station every few minutes creates tremendous stress on the display, latches, gaskets, electronics, and cover glass. TransitVu™ is built to withstand these forces —as well as the contaminants it kicks up.
