The History of BoldVu® by MRI

Our experience building rugged LCD displays for the demanding world of avionics shapes everything we do.

Today, we bring that same precision engineering and uncompromising reliability to the digital out-of-home industry.

35 Years of Durable LCDs

Avionic Display Corporation (ADC), was among the first companies to introduce full-color LCD technology to the military, business, and commercial aircraft sectors, tackling the most demanding and harshest environmental conditions.

American Panel Corporation (APC), established a sister company of ADC continued the development of building a LCD display solution that thrives in the world’s harshest and mission critical environments.

Manufacturing Resources International, Inc. (MRI) was spun-off to bring this extensive knowledge to the Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) market with the BoldVu® product line.

MRI’s “mission-critical” design philosophy has been the core to BoldVu’s success for over 20 years.

Our customers trust us as the industry leader for superior visibility, reliability, and excellence in outdoor display solutions.
