Founded in 2004, Manufacturing Resources International, Inc. (MRI) quickly emerged as the industry-leading provider of Outdoor Digital LCD Displays for the expanding Digital Out-Of-Home (DOOH) market. This was based on leveraging its design and engineering in mission-critical display technology. MRI was born as a technical spin-off from American Panel Corporation (APC), which itself was established in 1998 as a sister company of Avionic Display Corporation (ADC). ADC, founded in 1991, was among the first companies to introduce full-color LCD technology to the military, business, and commercial aircraft sectors, tackling the most demanding and harshest environmental conditions.
APC quickly became the dominant Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for digital displays in fighter jets and military ground vehicles. These purpose-designed displays are renowned for their resilience in extreme temperatures, high-altitude solar exposure, and even the intense conditions of Apache helicopters and M1A2 Abrams tanks. With this legacy of engineering excellence, MRI set out to revolutionize the DOOH industry, bringing the rugged durability and high performance of mission-critical technology to outdoor digital LCD displays.
